The WVU Board of Governors moved today (April 13) that Michael S. Garrison, managing member of the Morgantown office of Spilman Thomas & Battle PLLC, be the next president of WVU following consent of the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission. There will be a press conference at 2 p.m. today in the Mountainlair ballroom to introduce Garrison. A more detailed press release will follow.

Lead singer Aaron Lewis of Staind singing "It's been a while" at Fall Fest '06

Staind was the headliner of several bands that included The Roots, Motion City Soundtrack, and The Wreckers. Fall Fest is now an annual thing that happens at WVU on the first day of classes at the Mountainlair.
