Please also note the cooking demonstration. We need feedback in order to ensure the Chef is reserved. His demonstration will involve southwestern barbequed cuisine. Platinum-selling artists the All-American Rejects are bringing a Tournado to town - the Tournado tour, that is. The All-American Rejects - with special guests The Starting Line, The Format and Gym Class Heroes - are coming to the West Virginia University Coliseum Nov. 11. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Alumni and friends hitting the road to follow the Mountaineers in the coming weeks can stop by one of the pre-game events hosted by the WVU Alumni Association, WVU Foundation, Mountaineer Athletic Club and area alumni chapters. Mountaineer Week marks the time when the leaves are turning and the chill has returned to the evening air, setting the stage for a celebration filled with colorful art, unique crafts, and Appalachian culture, heritage, and cuisine. This celebration of the state of West Virginia, held on the campus of West Virginia University, was conceived in 1947 as an event to arouse more spirit on campus. ![]() [img_assist|nid=111|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=80|height=200]Attention Mountaineers! Join fellow WVU alumni and friends for a pre-game tailgate at the WVU vs. Mississippi State game on Saturday, October 7, 2006. We’ll be meeting at the South Lawn of Humphrey Coliseum Two hours prior to kickoff. The cost is $15 person and includes BBQ ribs and pulled pork, coleslaw, baked beans, chips, drinks, Rice Krispie treats, and beer.
